These are businesses
that are or have partnered helped us in some way to fulfill the vision God
has given us. Christian businesses with a Kingdom vision are what we call
Kingdom Businesses. Some of the characteristics we look for in Kingdom
businesses include . . .
a. Divinely Appointed with a Heavenly Purpose:
Kingdom businesses realize that God has granted
them success and share a responsibility
to release resources into godly purposes. They see themselves as extensions
of the activities of the local church (not separate entities) Eccl. 2:26
b. Positive Relationship with the Local Church
- Kingdom businesses seek to build excellent
relationships within the local churches and operate under the covering of
their spiritual authority. They share the burden for the ministry of their
churches. Acts 4:34-35
-

c. A Heart for the Kingdom
- Kingdom businesses are given to Kingdom thinking -
understanding that the vision touches people of many different
denominations, cultures, nationalities etc. While they have a passion for
Christ and a heart for truth, they are not unduly focused on issues related
to personal preferences, cultural distinctive s, generational perspectives
or denominational biases. Rather, they choose to share in the vision and
value of sowing faithfully into the purpose of GAP. Prov. 11:24-26
d. Active in the Spiritual Realm
-
Kingdom businesses recognize that they, too, are
involved in a spiritual battle and engage their business at a spiritual
level as well. They understand that satan is trying to cause their business
to fail, and that God desires to bless their businesses with success. Faith
is critical when it comes to success in business. Deut. 8:17
-
 e. Principles of Biblical Character
- Kingdom businesses seek to regulate themselves
according to biblical principles of character and doctrine (Prov. 11:1, Prov.
11:4, Lev. 20:23, Lev. 19:13, Jer. 22:11-19, Micah 6: 10 -16, Ezek.
22:12-13, Mal. 3:5)
